Shelly Towns (Host)

Shelly Towns serves as the Chief Marketing Officer of Marathon Health, where she leads member engagement, B2B marketing, brand management and communications. Prior to joining Marathon Health in 2017, Shelly spent 12 years in a variety of leadership roles at Angie’s List, including brand strategy, digital marketing and product management. Shelly is a graduate of Indiana University and was named to the Forty under 40 class in 2015 and a Woman of Influence in 2016 by the Indianapolis Business Journal. 

Michael Gonzales

Michael Gonzales is responsible for defining and executing Marathon Health’s high growth strategies and currently leads the development and launch of the virtual primary care solution. Michael brings over 20 years of experience in the fields of healthcare, consulting, outsourced business services and startups. He’s an expert in strategy, innovation, product development, operations, sales, project management, and finance, with a focus on high-growth healthcare. Prior to joining Marathon, Michael worked for onsite health provider CareHere as Vice President of Innovation and Product Development. Michael is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Program on Strategy and Innovation, holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Loyola University.
